Accutek packaging line conveyors are an integral and vital part of a cost-efficient packaging line that starts with empty containers and ends with filled, capped, and labeled products. The backbone of every packaging line is the conveyor system that moves empty or full containers through the various stages of the production process. Turntables assist in this process by descrambling the empty containers and feeding them onto a conveyor. A turntable is used again at the end of the line to accumulate the filled, capped, and labeled containers.

Flexible Conveyors
There is inherent flexibility with Accutek conveyor systems because a conveyor can be ordered with a durable polycarbonate belt material or stainless steel belt material. Stainless steel is needed if the conveyor passes through a heat tunnel. The standard width is 4.5 inches, but other widths can be ordered.
Stainless steel and aircraft-grade aluminum frame construction make Accutek conveyors durable low maintenance units. A wipe down with nonabrasive cleaners, and a damp rag returns a conveyor to like-new condition.
Versatility of Conveyors
Bottomless conveyors provide access to the bottom of a container. A bottomless conveyor with offset gripper belts is used to turn containers around a corner. The Accutek bottomless conveyor is one of our most adaptable products that can be used in several different ways. Raise one end or the other of the gripper belts to change line height or extract a container from a puck. (Pucks are used to stabilize a rounded container that cannot ride on a conveyor without falling over.)
The gripper belts on a bottomless conveyor are a sandwich of durable materials. The inner layer is composed of a toothed composite material that is in contact with the drive wheels and a scuff-resistant outer layer that contacts the container.
Turntables
AccuTurn turntables are offered in 42â€, 48†and 60†diameters and can be configured as unscramblers or accumulators. A 15†diameter turntable is often used to transfer containers from one conveyor to another at whatever angle.
Latest Technology
Most units are driven by direct drive AC motors that are powered by a single variable frequency drive (VFD). The VFD has a speed control knob that can smoothly vary unit speed from very slow to full speed. Direct drive mechanisms have fewer moving parts making them more reliable.
We supply our customers with a complete packaging line, installation, and service with a single purchase order. Accutek offers factory acceptance testing to our customers, and we carefully crate and ship your order from our factory in Vista, California.
